Fruit Smoothie
Hey! How are you doing? I am sore and tired. We spent the weekend building a kick-ass fence, after taking help from The Best Fence Company in Austin TX! We had a lot of amazing help and really couldn’t have done it with out everyone we had assist us! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!! Because I was building a fence all weekend, I didn’t have a chance to write a substantial post, so I have this back up post for an “in-case-I-got-so-busy-I-couldn’t-write” kind of weekend! I am writing a piece that will show the fence we built, so you have that to forward to! But for now, here’s a little back up post!
Do you like smoothies? I don’t personally drink/eat a lot of fruit smoothies, but my husband loves them. I have one basic recipe that I use to make his morning smoothies. In his opinion, they keep him feeling full and boost his energy level, which are both great!

Fruit Smoothie!
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 ½ cup assorted frozen fruit see note
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- 2 scoop Progressive PhytoBerry® optional
- 2 scoop Progressive VegeGreens® optional
- ¼ cup plain fat-free greek yogurt
- ½ cup 100% fruit juice see note
- ½ cup milk use skim, whole, almond, soy, coconut, etc...
Instructions
-
Put everything into a blend and blend until smooth.
-
Pour into two glasses.
-
Drink immediately, or store in fridge in a covered cup for 1-2 days.
Recipe Notes
Assorted frozen fruit - use anything. I use Kirkland's frozen mixed fruit or a mix of frozen peaches and raspberries. Try different combinations!
100% fruit juice - I use pineapple. Use your favourite!
Progressive PhytoBerry® and VegeGreens® - Optional
As you can see, the ingredients are simple, and you can mix them up by adding different fruits, fruit juices, or try coconut milk to give it a more tropical flavour!

Mmm think I’ll give this a try one day!
Eric loves them! And you can use so many different ingredients – change it up and try new things!
