Pale Ale Grainy Beer Mustard

Delicious and easy to make grainy beer mustard

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup each yellow, brown and black mustard seeds
  • 1/2 cup pale ale beer
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Put the mustard seeds into a bowl and pour beer and vinegar over top. Mix well, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  2. The next day, pour the soaked mustard seeds into a food processor, add brown sugar, maple syrup and salt, and mix to combine well.
  3. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

You can process the jars in a canner, or keep in the fridge in a closed container for 2-3 weeks.
