English Mild Beer Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 12 oz. can of beer English Mild or other malt-forward beer
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Mix all of the dry ingredients together until combined. Slowly add in the beer and mix to combine fully. Add in the melted butter and stir well.

  3. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Remove from pan and enjoy warm with butter or your favourite preserves.
